PlayerPro products were originally developed by Presence Systems Ltd (PSL) for Aston Villa Football Club from 2007 onwards. PSL enjoyed a relationship with Villa for over ten years, working with them on database developments in the areas of player appearances, corporate sponsorship and CRM.

In Dec 2010 PSL became part of Co-operative Web. Both companies share a history of innovative software development working with a wide range of customers across commercial, industrial, manufacturing and charitable sectors.
